2020 SCHEDULE TAKING SHAPE AT RIVERSIDE

JAMES RIVER, NS (February 7, 2020) – Management for Riverside International Speedway are pleased to announce event dates for the 2020 race season. The facility, a favourite with fans from all over Canada, will see events over four weekends from early-June through late-August.

The season starts June 6 with the first of three championship points races for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour (PST), with qualifying and a 150-lap feature for the series.

TRI TRACK OPEN MODIFIED SERIES ANNOUNCES 2020 PURSE STRUCTURE

SEEKONK, Mass. — Tri Track Open Modified Series officials announced on Wednesday the purse structure for the six-race season in 2020.

Competitors will be chasing at least $6,000 to win each event, with Seekonk Speedway’s Open Wheel Wednesday listed as a $10,000 first-place prize.

With 26 spots open for each event, the total purse per race will rise over 40,000, with drivers who qualify taking home at least $1,000 to start.

“We’re very pleased with the purse we have come up with for the 2020 season,” Wayne Darling, one of two Managing Partners of the Tri Track Open Modified Series, said. “Registrations are open, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone this year.”

GSPSS 2020 Preparations in Full Swing

As the Granite State Pro Stock Series makes its way through the long New England off season, series staff and teams prepare for the upcoming racing calendar.

The 2020 Schedule has seen a few last minute adjustments of late, but the bulk of it remains the same. The tentative Adirondack date won’t happen but Waterford has picked up that date and construction at the CT shoreline oval seems to be progressing nicely.

Thompson Speedway Joins Late Model Challenge Cup Program

Waterbury, VT – Drivers going after the 2020 New England Late Model Challenge Cup (NELMCC) presented by American Racer now have another venue and state in which to chase the title. American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Thompson Speedway officials announced today that the Connecticut track has joined the NELMCC program for its inaugural season.

Thompson Speedway becomes the fifth track affiliated with the weekly racing program. The 5/8-mile speedway joins Vermont’s Thunder Road Speedbowl, New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park and Star Speedway, and Massachusetts’ Seekonk Speedway. Thompson’s addition also means tracks from four different states will be represented in the NELMCC presented by American Racer.
