Winchester Speedpark to serve as practice facility for regional snocross teams
Venue to host 2020 season opener for new sanctioning body
SALEM, N.H. (Nov. 22, 2019) — One of the northeast’s most popular and well-designed powersports racing venues will play a key role in helping local snocross teams prepare for the coming season.
Winchester Speedpark, located in scenic Winchester, New Hampshire, will be the site of a snocross practice facility this December. Practice sessions are slated for Dec. 14-15 and Dec. 21-22.
Oktoberfest up next for the GSPSS at Lee USA Speedway
As the 2019 Granite State Pro Stock Series season winds down, the series takes part in one of the most anticipated events of the year. The two day Oktoberfest at Lee USA Speedway has become a destination event for New England race fans and teams alike.
The last three Lee events for the GSPSS have been dominated by two drivers from just up the road in Maine. They are friends, competitors, rivals and coworkers, as both drivers work at JBJ Machine in North Berwick Maine. The machine shop, owned by John Doiron, not only employs both drivers but makes numerous parts for race cars driven throughout New England.
LOUDON, NH: The North East Motor Sports Museum (922 Rt 106, Loudon, NH 03307) will host the third annual Legends Day celebration and banner raising, this time to honor three outstanding supermodified race car drivers on October 27th.
This year’s museum feature exhibit is supermodified racing. The museum floor features supers that go back to the early 1960s and includes those driven by this year’s Legends Day honorees. Shea Concrete Productssponsors the event and the exhibit.
Ollie Silva, a four-time winner of New England’s most important race for supers, the Star Classic, is an honoree. He won the Classic race four times and was a four-time New England Super Modified Racing Association (NESMRA) Champion. Silva won feature races from California to Florida, from Ohio to Canada. His style was hard on the gas with his elbows up. He is the all-time top NESMRA feature winner with 179 victories. Silva is deceased.

LOUDON, NH: The North East Motor Sports Museum, located at 922 NH Route 106 in Loudon, NH, on the grounds of New Hampshire Motor Speedway, is pleased to announce its first-ever Rally Car exhibit. Sponsored by Vermont SportsCar / Subaru Motorsports Team USA from Milton, VT and the Team O’Neil Rally School in Dalton, NH, the 2-car Rally Car display will be available for viewing at the North East Motor Sports Museum through the end of October 2019.
