Williams, Donahue Take Caron Fabrication Twin 100s at White Mountain
N. Woodstock, NH — Ellington, CT’s Ronnie Williams and Graniteville, VT’s Stephen Donahue were both standing tall after 100 laps of action at N. Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, September 5. Williams won the Honor to Essential Workers 100 for the Modified Racing Series (MRS) while Donahue captured the Leaf Peepers 100 for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models on Caron Fabrication Night.
Williams earned his first career MRS victory in the first series visit to White Mountain since 2005. Despite a lower car count than what series officials were expecting, the action was hot and heavy for the ground-pounders. West Swanzey, NH’s Kirk Alexander, the winner of the last MRS event at the track, grabbed the early lead off the outside pole. Alexander easily paced the field for the first half of the event while Williams and Bellingham, MA’s Woody Pitkat worked their way through the field.
MRS Makes Long-Awaited Return to White Mountain This Saturday
N. Woodstock, NH — For the first time in 15 years, the thunder of the Modified Racing Series (MRS) is coming to White Mountain Motorsports Park. The long-running New England–based Modified tour arrives in N. Woodstock, NH this Saturday, September 5 at 6:00pm for the Honor to Essential Workers 100 as part of a holiday extravaganza presented by Caron Fabrication.
MRS officials are expecting a field of more than 25 cars for the long-awaited event. With household names such as Anthony Nocella, Woody Pitkat, Todd Owen, Richard Savary, and Ronnie Williams expected in attendance, it will be a big Labor Day Saturday whether fans are watching in the beautiful North Country or from the comfort of home on the Northeast Sports Network.
Sam Rameau Picks Up Big Tri Track Win at Monadnock Speedway
Pockets $6,000 Check in Thrilling Fashion

WINCHESTER, N.H. — Sam Rameau used a pass of Ron Silk in the second half of Saturday’s Tri Track Open Modified Series race at Monadnock Speedway to seal the deal.
The Westminster, Massachusetts, native earned his first career Tri Track win in thrilling fashion, holding off some of the country’s best Modified talent over the final stretch of the third race of the season.
Rameau pocketed a $6,000 check with the victory as part of a lucrative purse that was over $40,000. It was the second stop of the season at the Winchester, New Hampshire, oval for Tri Track.
“We put a lot of work into this,” Rameau said. “A lot of people don’t know that its my full-time job to prepare these race cars. I put my heart and soul into this. The emotions are high.”
Bourgeois Rolls to Third Straight Win in 7-Eleven Dwarf Car Special
N. Woodstock, NH — St. Johnsbury, VT’s Colby Bourgeois made short work of his competition to win the 50-lap 7-Eleven Dwarf Car Special at N. Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, August 15. It was the third straight win for Bourgeois and his fourth of the year on 7-Eleven of Lincoln Night.
Bourgeois, who entered the night as co-point leader with Easton, NH’s Jason Wyman, rolled off 10th for the main event. However, the youngster needed just five laps to carve through the field. After slicing and dicing his way to the runner-up spot, he flew around the outside of Gilmanton, NH’s Tommy Smithers to grab the lead on the sixth go-around.
“Downtown” Bobby Brown of Lincoln, NH followed Bourgeois up the outside into the runner-up spot, and after a yellow on lap 13 for Paul Marsan’s backstretch spin, Brown stayed glued to Bourgeois’s back bumper until a competition caution on lap 25 for teams to refuel their cars. Meanwhile, despite getting stuck in traffic early, Wyman was able to find a hole and move into the third spot by the time the yellow flew.
N. Woodstock, NH — Barre, VT’s Nick Sweet showed once again that you can never count him out as he roared to his fourth Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model win of the season at N. Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park on Sunday, August 9. Sweet overpowered defending champion D.J. Shaw on a restart with 11 laps to go to capture the PASS Midsummer Classic 150 as seen live on the Northeast Sports Network.
As a previous 2020 winner, Sweet started 11th on the grid for the main event. The veteran steadily worked his way through the field, moving into the top-five on lap 29 and grabbing the third spot from polesitter Ben Ashline on lap 52 with Ben Rowe right behind him. At that point, Sweet trailed only Joey Doiron and Shaw, who had combined to set a torrid pace in the early going.
Moltz Takes Control Late for Big Payday in ACT Midsummer Classic

N. Woodstock, NH — New Sharon, ME’s Dillon Moltz was in it for the long haul at N. Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorports Park on Saturday, August as he took control late to win the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Midsummer Classic 250. Moltz grabbed the lead for good from Williamstown, VT’s Jimmy Hebert on a lap-183 restart and steadily pulled away down the stretch to snag the $10,000 payday on day one of Midsummer Classic Weekend.
The multi-time ACT winner started back in 16th for the 250-lap showdown and steadily worked his way through the field as polesitter Ryan Kuhn set the early pace. When the first caution flag on lap 61 after Joey Polewarczyk suffered a mechanical failure and left oil all around the race track, Moltz was up to the sixth spot, trailing Kuhn, Christopher Pelkey, D.J. Shaw, Scott Payea, and Hebert.
